Abandoned Amusement Park in New Orleans

they say New orleans is haunted… this has proved the theory 100%

I’m pretty sure some of these pictures are from abandoned amusement parks in Japan and other places, especially the Screw Coaster one in the fog, that’s Nara Dreamland.  I’m really into abandoned places photography and have def seen some of these on blogs I visit.  I just found a tumblr post that I’ll link to here that names some of the places~

Agreed, glad someone else looks at this pictures as much as me and noticed these are definitely not New Orleans. :)

I was sending photos like this to everyone when I started writing Nightmare in Silver. There is something uniquely disturbing about abandoned Amusement Parks.

Actually, I think with the exception of the “Cool Zone” rollercoaster picture, most of these aren’t of New Orleans. Rather, we’ve got pics from Japan, Chippewa Lake in Ohio, Spreepark in Berlin, etc. other abandoned parks around the world. 

They’re all still pretty awesome though.
